Wolfi Kroner

Giorsal (Gege to her friends) was brought up in Glasgow and Helensburgh.

She married Wolfi in 1972 and left to live in Stuttgart.  After nursing for a  short time she soon swapped careers to support her husband’s long held dream of owning a restaurant.

Gege worked in several hotels and restaurants around Stuttgart before moving back to Brodick in 1984.  

In 1987 they realised their dream and bought Trafalgar in Whiting Bay.

Wolfi hails from Stuttgart in Germany, though he has lived in Scotland for 30 years.  He trained in Germany in the famous Hotel School and he has worked in Switzerland, France, Italy and Britain.

Trafalgar is his baby and with 47 years experience he is a one man show:  waiter, manager and entertainer.

His lively banter and sharp wit will amuse, delight and  occasionally annoy the hell out of  you.  However you will never forget your visit and he will never forget your face!

He loves Arran, golf,  good food and red wine, and is fanatical about correct and precise service in all restaurants !
